Insight into the recent advancements on the ground

In the past two months the corrupt regime in Kabul has suffered severe setbacks on the battlefield as well as on the political front. District after district is falling and the morale of regime soldiers is at its weakest. The regime’s own officials have lost confidence in the ability of their solders while staunch supporters of Kabul administration are also criticizing them massively.

On the other hand, Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan have taken control of dozens of districts around the country without any significant resistance and casualties. Thousands of regime soldiers and militias have surrender and embraced the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. What does the battlefield victories of the Islamic Emirate reveal about the reality of the current conflict in Afghanistan?

Recent developments on the battlefield reveals three key characteristics of that the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Firstly, it shows that the Mujahideen have massive public roots and deep love and sincerity for way of life. The people of Afghanistan have always stood alongside those who struggled for our Islamic and national values. In most recent historical example, Afghans stood beside the Mujahideen after the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan and tried to impose a communist regime on our people.

Secondly, recent victories reveal the Islamic and humane attitude of the Mujahideen towards prisoners of war and those who surrender to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan based on the guidance of the Prophet (PBUH), acted with responsibility with those surrendered in recent months by proving them medical treatment, food, water and pocket money for their returns to normal lives. The leadership of the Islamic Emirate showed exceptional compassion and care during the recent advancements and thus won the hearts and minds of the communities.

Finally, it shows that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has unity, discipline, integrity, honesty and purity, which the people of Afghanistan have always admired. These victories would not have been possible without the support of the people. Afghans have a high level of trust and confidence in the Mujahideen. Mujahideen have a place in the hearts of their people and are capable of ending their misery. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan started serving the people at a time when they were under daily bombardments, drone strikes, brutal night raids and fierce battlefield campaign. The Islamic Emirate quickly eradicated all evil, corruption and malpractices from the areas under its control and influence. Health, medical and welfare services flourished without corruption and justice was delivered quickly to the masses unlike the regime which was and is the most corrupt in the world.

On the other, the leadership of regime in Kabul is composed of war profiteers, warlords and mafia style political lackeys of foreigners. The regime, under the false pretext of foreign fighters in Afghanistan and so-called threat of terrorism, tried to persuade the foreigners to stay so that the regime can survive, and foreigners spoon-feed and babysit the regime until decades. Now as the foreign forces are withdrawing under the Doha agreement, the real face of the corrupt and incompetent regime is exposing itself. Firstly, the regime forces are losing ground because they don’t have the support of people and are almost left immobile surrounded in their bases. Secondly, as all other hopes of the regime are dimmed, it has resorted to the establishment of militias under the title of public uprisings. The militias created by regime are crumbling like dominoes and are surrendering in hundreds too. The warlords who were chest thumping and boasting about their strength in social media photo ops to show their efficiency to their foreign sponsors have miserably failed as well.

With each day passing the areas controlled by the forces of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan are expanding and the ordinary people are welcoming the Mujahideen. The Islamic Emirate has shown exemplary restrain and is working hard to save lives by asking the soldiers and armed militias to surrender. The regime on the other hand is even going after the elders who are mediating with the besieged soldiers in different provinces to surrender so that they can be saved. The international community should understand that the Mujahideen and the people have rejected the forced and illegal regime in Kabul despite 19 years of continuous hardships. Now as the foreigners are withdrawing, the people of Afghanistan and the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan will never bow down to a foreign backed regime or its affiliated militias.

Against all the odds, Afghanistan will be an independent, sovereign and free country and will be governed by a pure Islamic system.
