The Ministry of Industry and Trade has recently inaugurated a soap making factory in Taluqan city, serving as the capital of Takhar province. The factory, established with an investment of 9 million Afghanis, has the capacity to produce 15,000 bars of soap per day. This initiative has also created employment opportunities for 10 individuals in the region.

During the opening ceremony, Abdul Rahman Ghaznavi, the director of industry and trade in Takhar province, encouraged the local residents to support domestic products. He emphasized the significance of utilizing these locally produced soaps. These soap factories provide a range of laundry soap options, catering to diverse consumer preferences.
