The Gamberi irrigation and power generation dam located in lower Kunar district of Nangarhar province was visited by the Acting Minister of Water and Energy, Mawlawi Abdul Latif Mansour.
Honorable Maulvi Abdul Latif Mansoor, the Acting Minister of Water and Energy, expressed that the construction project of the Gambiri Dam holds great importance for the ministry.
As per the ministry’s information, the detailed design of the dam has been finalized. Once constructed, it is expected to generate 45 megawatts of electricity and provide irrigation for approximately 32 thousand hectares of agricultural land.
