Around 75000 tons of good transferred by railway lines last week

During last week of the this month, the Afghanistan Railway Authority (ARA) reported the successful transportation of 73,657 metric tons of goods via railways.

According to a press release issued by the ARA, out of this total, 58,257 tons were transferred through Hairtaan railways, while Aqina railways facilitated the transportation of 8,095 tons and 7,315 tons of goods transported through Torghondi  port.

The press release highlights that these transfers encompassed 3,835 tons of exports, with a significant portion consisting of pomegranate juice and mineral stones. The successful transportation of these goods demonstrates the growing utilization of railways for trade and export purposes in Afghanistan.
