Turkish Ambassador calls on Foreign Minister

The Turkish Ambassador to Afghanistan, Mr. Cenk Ünal called on IEA-Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir khan Muttaqi, says ministry of foreign affairs

At the outset, FM Muttaqi the appreciated the position of the Republic of Türkiye regarding trade boycott with the Zionist regime.

The meeting also focused on bilateral relations, recent positive developments in Afghanistan, the visits of political and economic delegations to Afghanistan from several countries.

FM Muttaqi underlined the commencing trade with Türkiye through lapis lazuli route & opening joint exhibitions in Türkiye & Afghanistan.

Later, the Turkish Ambassador said that we are happy with the recent developments in Afghanistan, & joined efforts need to be made for the further expansion of Türkiye-Afghanistan relations, adding further, he said that in the coming few days, Turkish Airlines will commence its flights to Kabul.

In the end, given the historical backdrops and good relations of the two countries, the two sides reiterated promoting synergy to meet the expectations of the people of the two countries.
