Today, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Political Deputy of Prime Minister, held a meeting with Mr. Dmitri Zhirnov, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Kabul, at the Sepedar Palace.

During the meeting, the Russian ambassador expressed Russia’s willingness to collaborate with Afghanistan in various domains and emphasized the importance of further enhancing relations between the two nations. He underscored that bilateral cooperation and interaction between the Islamic Emirate and Russia could contribute to regional stability and bolster Afghanistan’s economic strength.

Mr. Dmitri Zhirnov highlighted Russia’s positive stance on Afghanistan in international forums and acknowledged the value placed on the opinion of the Islamic Emirate in significant meetings. Additionally, he extended an invitation to the political deputy of the state minister to participate in an upcoming international gathering in Kazan, Tatarstan.
