Since the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan, significant economic projects aimed at benefiting the nation and creating job opportunities have been initiated by the leaders of the Islamic Emirate. These projects include the construction of the Qosh Tepa canal, the Salang tunnel highway, the asphalting of the Kabul-Kandahar road, the development of water dams, and the establishment of various factories. This wave of progress continues across all sectors. Recently, promising developments have taken place in the economic hub of Herat.

During a visit to Herat Province, Economic Deputy Prime Minister Alhaj Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar and Minister of Energy and Water Abdul Latif Mansour announced the establishment of two spice production companies called Afghan Medicine and Itook Pharma, with a total value of 26 million dollars. Additionally, significant progress has been made on the Pashdan Band project, which has a total cost of 117 million dollars.

These achievements clearly demonstrate the economic and productive advancements in the country. To illustrate this progress, let us compare the situation three years ago to the present day. During the fall of the previous republic, there were 150 active factories in Herat’s industrial town. However, under the Islamic Emirate’s economy-oriented policies and strong support for traders and investors, the number of companies and factories has grown from 150 to 850. This upward trajectory in economic development continues, illustrating the nation’s determination to build and prosper despite the challenges and sanctions faced.

Furthermore, there is promising news in the economic sector—the upcoming establishment of a new large industrial town spanning 55,000 acres of land in Herat. This industrial town will feature advanced systems and is set to become an esteemed center in Asia. These endeavors by the leaders of the Islamic Emirate aim to transform Afghanistan from an import-dependent nation to an export-oriented one, providing employment opportunities and deterring emigration.

In light of these achievements, it is crucial for us to continue supporting the Islamic Emirate in all fields to ensure the nation’s progress and prosperity. By doing so, we can safeguard the citizens of Afghanistan from the perils of migration and poverty, offering them peace and stability both mentally and physically.
