In the name of Allah, the merciful, the beneficent

44 years ago, on the 6th of Jadi, 1358 Hijri, Afghanistan faced the invasion by the forces of the former Soviet Union. The Afghan Muslim nation, being independent and unwilling to tolerate any aggression or encroachment, initiated a significant and comprehensive jihad against the Soviet aggressors and through a decade-long struggle and with the help of Allah almighty and the sacrifices of the mujahid nation, it successfully defeated and expelled the occupying forces of the Soviet Union.

The Islamic Emirate, representing the Afghan nation, strongly condemns the invasion by the former Soviet Union and commends the jihad and resilience by the Afghan people in their resistance against the aggressors.

Afghanistan does not interfere in the internal affairs of any other country and does not allow anyone else to violate our rights and interfere in our internal affairs. The Islamic Emirate aims to establish positive and strong relationships with all countries, near and far, based on Islamic principles, ensuring the absence of harm to any party involved.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan calls upon all nations, both in the region and beyond, to fulfill their responsibilities in establishing and securing good and strong relationships according to Islamic principles. This, in turn, will pave the way for peace and prosperity in the region and the world, eradicating the discomfort, destruction, and mistrust caused by previous conflicts.
