On Sunday, 26/5/1445 (corresponding to 19/9/1402), a significant number of emigrants have returned to the country through various routes, and necessary services have been provided to them in different areas. The detailed report is provided below.

Torkham (Durand Hypothetical Line)

Registration, Verification, and Reception Committee:

A total of 96 families have returned to the country via Torkham and have been officially registered.

Finance Management Committee:

The Financial Affairs Committee has extended assistance to 70 families, providing them with a total sum of 700,000 Afghanis.

Temporary Settlement Committee:

At Torkham, 35 families have been accommodated in a temporary settlement camp.

Services and Health Affairs Committee:

A range of services, including healthcare, were provided to the returning refugees at Torkham camp:

– Food: 4,700 meals and 135,000 liters of water were distributed in Torkham camps.
– Clothing: The refugees who arrived at Umari Camp received the following items:
– 380 blankets
– 100 packets of five-kg laundry soap
– 130 packets of raw food materials
– Communications: 289 SIM cards were distributed to the incoming migrants, free of charge, equipped with free minutes and internet bundles.

Job seeking Committee:

Today, in Torkham, the following individuals were registered:
– 4 individuals with bachelor’s degrees
– 1 individual with a master’s degree
– 1 Hafiz (one who has memorized the Quran)
– 112 impoverished workers
– 72 professionals

Furthermore, 136 children in Torkham received public awareness sessions on topics such as explosives, hygiene, child protection, Afghanistan, and were provided with entertainment programs to support their mental well-being.

Information and Public Awareness Committee:

The returned refugees in Torkham were given comprehensive public awareness sessions covering various aspects:
– Information regarding registration, transportation, financial support, short-term settlement, and understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience, tolerance, and education were provided to the refugees.

 

Spin Boldak (Durand Fictitious Line)

 

Registration, Verification, and Reception Committee:

 

A total of 149 families comprising 783 members have returned to the country and completed the registration process through Spin Boldak.

 

Finance Management Committee:

 

The Financial Affairs Committee has provided financial assistance of 10,000 Afghanis to 143 families, totaling 1,430,000 Afghanis.

 

Transportation and Trnasfer Committee:

39 families from Kandahar and Spin Boldak districts, with a combined total of 251 members, were safely transported to Kandahar, Herat, Zabul, and Kabul.

 

Services and Health Affairs Committee:

 

A range of services, including healthcare, were provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

 

– Food: 3,800 meals and clean water were distributed in Spin Boldak.

– Health: 300 returnees received medical treatment in Spin Boldak.

– Clothing: Tents, blankets, and clothing were distributed to refugees in temporary camps.

– Communication: The Telecommunication Services Agency distributed 490 SIM cards with free minutes and internet packages to the returning migrants at no cost.

 

Job Seeking Committee:

In Spin Boldak, the Employment Committee registered a total of 245 individuals, comprising:

– 4 individuals with bachelor’s degrees

– 1 individual with a master’s degree

– 4 memorizers (presumably of religious texts)

– 3 religious scholars

– 166 impoverished workers

– 67 professionals

 

Information and Public Awareness Committee:

 

The Honorable Alhaj Mullah Khairullah “Khairkhah,” the General Officer of the Information and Public Awareness Committee, visited the temporary settlement camps of Spin Boldak refugees during his trip to Kandahar. He encouraged the staff of the relevant committees to strive for excellence. Alongside providing necessary recommendations, he emphasized the religious and national responsibility of serving the returning refugees in a compassionate manner, fostering morale among the people, and enabling them to lead peaceful and happy lives in the country.

Zabul

Shamulzo Line (Durand Fictitious Line)

 

Registration, Verification, and Reception Committee:

 

18 families comprising 118 members returned to the country and completed the registration process.

 

Transportation and Transfer Committee:

 

14 families with 100 members were safely transferred from Shamalzo Road to Zabul and Kandahar provinces. The families received a total payment of 61,580 Afghanis.

 

Finance Management Committee:

 

The Financial Affairs Committee provided a total cash amount of 180,000 Afghanis to 18 families.

 

Services and Health Affairs Committee:

 

Various services, including healthcare, were provided to the returning refugees along the way to Shamalzo:

 

– Food: 209 meals and clean water were distributed in Shamalzo.

– Health: 10 returned migrants received medical treatment in Shamalzo.

 

Information and Public Awareness Committee:

 

The returned refugees in Shamalzo received comprehensive public awareness sessions covering various aspects, including registration, transportation, financial assistance, short-term settlement, and understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience, tolerance, and education.

Paktika

 

Angor Ada (Durand Fictitious Line)

 

Registration, Verification, and Reception Committee:

 

Three families consisting of 14 members returned to the country and completed the registration process at Angur Base.

 

Transportation and Shipping Committee:

 

Three families, totaling 14 individuals, were safely transported to their respective areas and villages from Angur Aday.

 

Finance Management Committee:

 

A total of 30,000,000 Afghanis, in denominations of 10,000 Afghanis, was donated to three families at Angur Ada.

 

Services and Health Affairs Committee:

 

Various services, including healthcare, were provided to the returning refugees at Pan Angor Ada:

 

– Food: 111 meals, along with food and water, were distributed to the refugees at Angur Base.

– Health: Today, 43 returned refugees received medical treatment at Angur Base.

– Communication: The Telecommunication Services Agency distributed 17 SIM cards with free minutes and internet packages to the returning refugees.

 

Information and Public Awareness Committee:

 

The returning refugees at Angur Base received comprehensive public awareness sessions encompassing various aspects, including registration, transportation, financial assistance, short-term settlement, and understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience, tolerance, and education.

 

Herat

 

Islam Kala

 

Registration, Verification, and Reception Committee:

 

15 families comprising 32 members returned to the country and completed the registration process through Islam Fort.

 

Finance Management Committee:

 

A total of 80,000,000 Afghanis, in denominations of 10,000 Afghanis, was donated to eight families en route to Islam Kala Fort.

 

Nimroz

 

Silk Road Rout

 

Registration, Verification, and Reception Committee:

34 families with a total of 115 members returned to the country and completed the registration process through Nimroz province. Additionally, 1,008 passengers returned to the country.

 

Temporary Settlement Committee:

 

In Nimroz, 24 families comprising 87 members have been accommodated in a short-term settlement camp. Arrangements have been made for their accommodation, clothing, and food. They have also received monetary and non-monetary assistance.

 

Services and Health Affairs Committee:

 

The following services, including healthcare, were provided to the refugees who returned via the Nimroz Silk Road today:

 

– Communication: Officials from the communication and information technology sector distributed 32-digit SIM cards to the refugees, providing free minutes and internet packages.

 

Information and Public Awareness Committee:

 

Public awareness sessions were conducted for 87 refugees on the Silk Road of Nimroz province. These refugees were provided with useful information regarding registration, transportation, financial assistance, short-term settlement, understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience, tolerance, education, and training.

Kabul

 

Transportation and Transfer Committee:

 

80 families comprising a total of 327 individuals were safely transported from Kabul to Kunduz, Balkh, and Nangarhar provinces. The car rental costs for these families amounted to 302,500 Afghanis.

 

Summary of Activities by All Committees:

 

– Total Registered Migrants: 315 families and 1,062 individuals.

– Total Transferred Refugees: 136 families and 692 individuals.

– Total Assisted Migrants: 242 families.

– Temporarily Settled Migrants: 59 families.

– Total Refugees Treated: 353 individuals.

– SIM Cards Distributed: 828 digits.
