Defense Minister Holds Meeting with Azerbaijan Ambassador to Kabul

Acting Minister of the Ministry of National Defense, Maulvi Muhammad Yaqub “Mujahid,” held a meeting with Mr. Ilham “Muhammadov,” the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Azerbaijan to Kabul, at his office in Kabul on Wednesday, as per the ministry statement.

During the meeting, the Acting Minister of National Defense expressed his pride in the friendship and shared values between the two Muslim nations. He emphasized the desire to expand cooperation in various other areas. The Azerbaijani Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Islamic Emirate for their trust and cooperation in the reopening of their country’s embassy in Kabul. He also conveyed the readiness of Azerbaijan to collaborate with the Islamic Emirate and the people of Afghanistan, with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations.
