Afghan Gamma Company officials have announced the upcoming initiation of construction for the second part of the fourth section of the Khaf-Herat railway. This significant endeavor aims to connect Afghanistan with international markets.

The construction of this portion of the railway spans 47 kilometers and entails an estimated cost of 53 million US dollars. Once completed, this railway will establish vital connections for Afghanistan to reach Iranian ports and, subsequently, extend its reach to Turkey and Europe.

Furthermore, the successful implementation of this project will pave the way for future railway expansions in provinces such as Farah, Nimroz, Helmand, Kandahar, and other regions of Afghanistan.
