    Several killed and wounded, tank destroyed in Shindand

    HERAT, Oct. 09 – At noon hours today a gunfight brock out against enemy troops arriving Bartakhat area for an operation. Attacks of heavy and light arms are said to be underway, so far a tank destroyed by RPG fire, leaving all gunmen killed or hurt inside. Further details about the operation will be updated.

    SARIPUL, Oct. 09 – Officials say a gunman has killed a hireling commander – Gulbuddin – along with his 3 colleagues in Sheram area of Saripul city overnight before joining Mujahideen.
