KABUL, Jan. 22 – According to press office of the ministry of Public Works the ministry has successfully completed the repair and reconstruction work on the Kunduz-Takhar highway, covering 2.5 kilometers of asphalt and 23 kilometers in total.

The project was contracted to Durani Road Construction and Building Company with an estimated cost of approximately 38 million Afghanis. The asphalt work has been fully completed and opened to traffic.

It is noteworthy that this project not only provided employment opportunities for local residents but also significantly alleviated transportation issues for passengers traveling along the Kunduz-Takhar route.
