Following the withdrawal of the occupying army from Afghanistan, Western nations, particularly the United States, have reportedly been seeking a cooperative force to advance their interests in the region. After extensive deliberations, Tajikistan has emerged as a purported choice for the implementation of American intelligence projects in the area.

Under the alleged arrangement, the “Khorasan branch of ISIS,” a force said to be under American influence, is supposedly deployed and maneuvered by Tajik intelligence in approved countries and regions as needed. Recent incidents, including tensions in the Middle East and bombings in Iran and Afghanistan, allegedly involving Tajik citizens, lend support to this claim.

Prior to the incident in Kerman, Iran, Afghanistan’s Minister of Defense, Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoub Mujahid, issued a warning indicating the involvement of Tajikistan and Pakistan in the recent insecurity within Afghanistan. The Islamic Emirate’s security forces have apprehended individuals from both Pakistan and Tajikistan. Additionally, former ISIS Khorasan branch leader, Abdulrahim Muslim Dost, claimed that Tajikistan’s intelligence is utilizing the group.

These factors contribute to the assertion that Tajik intelligence has played a role in orchestrating operations of the ISIS Khorasan branch, allegedly at the behest of the United States. The consequences of these actions may eventually engulf Tajikistan in a fire, obscuring their own vision. Such a scenario would serve as a stark reminder of the well-known proverb: “Showing red rag to a bull”
