    GHAZNI, Sept. 24 – Early Friday Mujahideen ambushed a group of police in Shalgar district of southern Ghazni province, sparking a half-hour long firefight that led to the death of two puppets.

    Jalalabad airbase struck with missiles

    NANGARHAR, Sept. 24 – The district of Bati Kot in Nangarhar came under Mujahideen attack on Friday, a report said but provided no casualty details. In another report, Mujahideen pounded Jalalabad airbase located in Jalalabad city, the provincial capital with missiles. There is no information to confirm the enemy casualties.

    Arms depot discovered in Tarinkot, weapons seized

    URUZGAN, Sep. 24 – Officials say Mujahideen discovered an arms depot of ex-governor Jan Muhammad Khan in Balagh area of the capital Tarinkot. According to details 400 RPG rounds, 40 rifles and other war equipment was confiscated. The capital is still under a tight siege of Mujahideen.
