Accountability increases the nation’s trust in the government

The sovereignty over Allah Almighty’s servants on earth, managing their affairs and finding solutions to their economic, educational, health and similar problems, although it is considered a great status and a service to humanity, but this sovereignty and the management of affairs is also a great responsibility and it is impossible to perform it properly without competence and trust.

An employee working in any government position should have these two attributes and these two attributes should be taken into consideration while selecting them. Eligibility means that the official should be able to carry out the assigned duties in all sense and have knowledge in all aspects of his job, and trust means that the official should not betray the rights and wealth of the nation and avoid corruption, fraud and any other type of crime.

Those countries, whose affairs are managed by capable and reliable officials, quickly reach the pinnacles of progress, happiness, and a happy life. Simply being trustworthy or knowledgeable in one’s field of endeavour is insufficient; both qualities must be present. Although there are some shortcomings, the Islamic Emirate has been in charge of the Afghan nation’s affairs for the past two years and has made significant progress in many areas. It is hoped that with time, these shortcomings will also be eliminated, and Afghanistan will be able to compete with other nations in the world and the region in the fields of politics, economics, and education.

The head of the prime minister’s office recently asked all government bodies to inform the public of their activities through the media during the opening meeting. An advantageous aspect of this accountability process is that officials from ministries and other government organisations not only share through the media the good deeds and accomplishments they have accomplished with the public, but they also share instances where their ministry or organisation has fallen short or is having difficulties completing a task.
