3 commanders among 13 killed and wounded as APC, ranger destroyed in Gerishk

HELMAND, Apr. 23 – A police check post close to Gerishk district’s Bazar area came under Mujahideen attacks overnight.

Firefights of heavy and light weapons, resulting in 6 puppets killed and a vehicle destroyed.

Later on, enemy reinforcement arriving from the district center came under a landmine blast, destroying an APC, killing commander Agha Muhammad and 3 others while wounding 5 others including Commander Abdul Razaq and commander Muahammad Agha.
