3 APCs destroyed in Nahr Siraj, equipment sized

HELMAND, Aug. 18 – Officials say enemy troops of ANA and ANP that arrived Yaklang area, Nahr Siraj region of Gerishk district for unblocking the Kandahar – Lashkargah rout and were under siege in Sattar Khan battalion came under Mujahideen mortar shelling midday today, forcing them to flee after suffering heavy casualties where exact toll is unknown yet .
While fleeing towards capital Lashkargah 3 enemy APC were blown apart by IED attacks, leaving all gunmen killed or hurt inside.
It is said that a Dshk and other war equipment was seized in the operation.
