2700 Needy families receive food aid in Paktia

PAKTIA, Nov. 27 – Amid ongoing distribution of humanitarian aid, food aid has been distributed to 2,700 poor families for the fifth time under the supervision of the Department of Rural Development and Reconstruction of Paktia, with the financial support of the World Food Program (WFP) and the organization (AWCPO) in Areob Zazi District of the said province.

The aid included 50 kg of wheat, 4.55 kg of oil, 6.250 kg of pulses and a bucket of salt for each family.

The Department of Rural Development and Reconstruction in Paktia is monitoring the implementation of humanitarian aid and assures the people that it will do this regularly and provide humanitarian aid to deserving families.
