24 killed as post overrun in Khakrez, 2 vehicles seized

KANDAHAR, Aug. 17 – Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks on 2 hireling check posts in Charghi Dorahi and Traigaw areas of Khakrez district last night, overrunning both check posts after an intense gunfight, killing 24 puppets and destroying an APC.
According to details, 2 ranger pickups, 3 RPG launchers, 1 PKM machine gun, 17 rifles, 4 communication radios and other military tools have been recovered.
