National Empathy: Collaborative Problem-Solving by the Government and the People

Despite the tragic occurrence of the Herat earthquake, claiming the lives of over a thousand individuals and causing profound grief among Afghan families and leaders, it had an alternate effect of fostering unity and solidarity. The calamity brought the people and the government closer together, prompting them to stand united and support one another in the healing process.

Furthermore, the compelled deportation of  compatriots, particularly from neighboring Pakistan, imposed a substantial burden, seemingly intended to exert pressure on our country. However, the esteemed elders of the Islamic Emirate graciously assumed this responsibility and demonstrated empathy, compassion, and loyalty to the world by organizing government aid and garnering support from zealous individuals.

The elders of the Islamic Emirate encountered numerous challenges right from the inception of their governance, which seemed insurmountable. Yet, with assistance of Allah almighty, they managed to overcome each obstacle, and the services rendered to their nation fostered closer ties between the government and the people.

In the face of the unfortunate events in Herat and the forced migration of immigrants, the entire populace and the government were profoundly moved, rekindling memories reminiscent of the Ansar of Medina and the immigrants of Makkah.

Even ordinary government employees, who possess limited financial resources, did not shy away from participating in these nationwide efforts and contributed in their own small ways.

Many employees willingly set aside 10% of their monthly salary to aid the immigrants. Moreover, our entrepreneurs and affluent individuals generously donated millions of Afghanis. Dedicated teams from various ministries, including Defense, Interior, and Kabul Municipality, were deployed to border areas to ensure precise, transparent, and efficient assistance, closely monitoring the entire process.

Overall, the Islamic Emirate’s unwavering attention, meticulous planning, and diligent resolution of the financial and social predicaments faced by the nation serve as a trump card, progressively bolstering its popularity and solidifying its foundations.
