Upon examining the historical journey of Afghanistan across different epochs, one discovers a tapestry of highs and lows rarely witnessed in the annals of other nations. The pages of its history are adorned with heavy assaults, successive occupations, diverse oppositions, wars, conflicts, acts of bravery, and heroic endeavors, setting this country apart from others. Thus, each passing day serves as a poignant reminder of both sorrow and joy.

Among the significant dates that demand documentation and national consciousness lies the eighth day of Saur. On this auspicious day, the Mujahideen successfully ousted Dr. Najib, the representative of the communist regime, from the seat of power, forever discarding the oppressive blanket of their system. Afghanistan’s independence and triumph were proclaimed once more. However, the Afghan people had yet to savor the sweetness of this victory, as the bitter aftermath of internal strife and power struggles tarnished the horizon. In no time, the Jihadi groups, infiltrated by deceitful elements, succumbed to a tragic fate.

Rocket barrages, bombings, and relentless gunfire plunged our beloved country into the cauldron of war. Thousands of lives were lost, and countless others suffered injuries, while tens of thousands were displaced, seeking refuge in plains, deserts, and foreign lands. These were truly arduous, draining, and perilous days for the Afghan people. Despite their resilience and valiant resistance against formidable invaders, the astuteness and machinations of age-old adversaries went unnoticed by the Jihadi leaders and those entrusted with the welfare of the people. A comprehensive strategy to dismantle these threats was regrettably absent.

The foremost duty of the Mujahideen during that period was to promptly establish a council following the country’s independence, ensuring governance through consensus and empowering the people in a manner that benefits all of Afghanistan’s populace.

Had the Mujahideen, who had attained this coveted gift after enduring immense hardships, purged their ranks of opportunists and profiteers, and united to form a robust, capable, and steadfast government, countless innocent lives could have been spared. The homes of the oppressed and defenseless would not have been ravaged, and cities would not have been reduced to smoldering ruins.

The leaders of the Jihad and respected elders should have recognized that the adversaries would never be content with the establishment of an Islamic government. They would relentlessly oppose the presence of a government that defends the rights of Muslims. Since the year 1371 A.H., following the defeat of the communist regime and its allies, internal conflicts and wars ensued, persisting for several years. These tragic conflicts, marked by heinous acts, underscored the importance of placing control and governance in the hands of individuals with foresight, broad vision, and a commitment to resolving internal disputes in the most effective manner.

To avoid the repetition of such bitter experiences, the Islamic Emirate, Alhamdulillah, from its inception, has prioritized the inclusion of experts, experienced individuals, and skilled professionals. Notably, among them are scholars who have spent extensive time in the battlefields and among diverse communities, gaining invaluable experience. By the grace of God, they have successfully thwarted emerging challenges.

The tireless enemies of Islam and Muslims continue to lurk, plotting to execute their sinister plans once again. As evident from their actions, they persistently avoid cooperation and engagement with the new government, employing baseless pretexts. Moreover, they have mobilized their audio and video media outlets to disseminate propaganda against the system and sow discord among government leaders. However, by the hope and reliance on Allah almighty, they shall not succeed this time. Their speculations will transform into perpetual despair, and they shall be humiliated. God willing.
