Mujahid: Politics of force and coercion has not worked in Afghanistan and will not work in the future

US Deputy Secretary of State – John Sullivan – ignored realities and in our view miscalculated when he talked about putting pressure on the Islamic Emirate during the UN Security Council meeting.

Such policies are the repetition of failed tactics of war mongering US Generals employed over the past sixteen years which have yet to bear any fruit, rather it has increased problems for America and pushed her further towards the edge of collapse.

America must realize that the main issue of Afghanistan is foreign occupation. The British and Soviet invasion and their subsequent inglorious defeats as well as the material and human losses inflicted on American over the past sixteen years should make it clear that Afghans do not surrender to pressure and coercion and this point must earnestly be understood.

Insisting on force and coercion despite recurrent defeats and failure on the battlefield proves that either they are unable to comprehend the ground realities or are possibly seeking the extension of war so they can pursue their imperialistic goals in our country and the region.

For this purpose the Department of State announced that “great power competition” will be the real focus of their strategy.

No doubt that with this strategy, they will launch efforts to destabilize and encourage war around the world and specifically this region.

The Islamic Emirate shall use all tools at its disposal to force America to understand realities, accept reason and end occupation, Allah willing.

Spokesman of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan
