Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, engaged in a heartfelt telephone conversation with Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of the Hamas movement. The purpose of the call was to express condolences to Mr. Haniyeh on the tragic loss of his children and family members.

 

At the outset, Muttaqi Sahib conveyed his deepest sympathies and offered prayers for the acceptance of the martyrs’ sacrifice and he expressed hope that the sacrifices made by the martyrs would yield significant outcomes, ultimately leading to the liberation of Palestine from the grasp of Zionist invaders. And that the sacrifices endured will bring about tangible change and contribute to the ultimate freedom of the Palestinian land.

 

FM Muttaqi acknowledged that Afghanistan itself had gained independence through numerous sacrifices. He extended his wishes for the Palestinian Mujahid people, urging them to maintain perseverance, stability, and patience in their struggle.

 

In response, Mr. Ismail Haniyeh expressed gratitude to FM Muttaqi for his condolences and prayed for the acceptance of the martyrs’ sacrifices. He acknowledged the people of Afghanistan as pioneers in the fight for freedom, and expressed hope that their shared bloodshed would bring forth positive outcomes.

 

Mr. Haniyeh conveyed his greetings and best wishes to the leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Amirul Momineen, and extended his blessings to the people of Afghanistan.
