Today, a Malaysian delegation consisting of the Special Representative of Malaysia and representatives from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Interior, and Defense held a meeting with Mawlawi Muhammad Yaqub “Mujahid,” the Acting Minister of National Defense of the IEA, in his office, says ministry of national defense.

During the meeting, the Acting Minister of National Defense warmly welcomed the visiting delegation and expressed appreciation for the positive attitude of the Malaysian government and people towards Afghan refugees residing in Malaysia. He also acknowledged the longstanding relations between Malaysia and Afghanistan, emphasizing the strength and significance of Malaysia as a prominent Islamic nation. He expressed hope for further strengthening these ties.

As part of the discussion, Maulvi Muhammad Yaqub “Mujahid,” the Acting Minister of National Defense, provided the visiting guests with insights into the Afghan people’s sacrifices and resilience in their fight against foreign invaders. He also shared an update on the country’s current situation, stating that with the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, the occupation and the war have come to a complete end. Furthermore, he highlighted the overall establishment of security across the entire country.

During his address to the delegation, the Acting Minister of National Defense conveyed that Afghanistan does not have any physically existing group, including Daesh (ISIS), within its borders. He emphasized that the Islamic Emirate is determined to prevent any individuals from using Afghan territory to pose threats or create disturbances in neighboring and regional countries.

Concluding the meeting, the delegation recognized Afghanistan and Malaysia as two friendly nations and stressed the importance of comprehensive cooperation. They assured the Acting Minister that their observations and experiences in Afghanistan would be conveyed to the high-ranking officials of their country.
