HELMAND, Aug. 29 – Reports say at noon hours on Sunday, Mujahideen surprised those enemy troops in Camp area of Marjah district who wanted to flee from an under siege check post. Attack continued till afternoon hours, during which 2 landmines ripped into a hireling APC and a patrol, killing and wounding 9 gunmen abroad.

BALKH, Aug. 29 – Two agent of NDS were killed in a targeted attack by Mujahideen in Dawlat Abad district of Balkh province early today. Later, Mujahideen exchanged fire with the police leaving 5 puppets dead elsewhere in the district. A Mujahid fighter embraced martyred and another one suffered injuries in the fighting, too.
WARDAK, Aug. 29 – A roadside bombing destroyed an enemy tank last yesterday night in Syed Abad district of Wardak province, leaving all those aboard dead and wounded. Similarly, Mujahideen raided an outpost elsewhere in Syed Abad, sparking a brief exchange of fire but the enemy casualty toll is not determined.
GHAZNI, Aug. 29 – Mujahideen fighters raided an enemy combat post in Ghazni city, the provincial capital with the same name last night, triggering a half-hour long fighting in which 2 puppets were killed and 1 hurt. A Mujahid fighter was also martyred in the combat.
