    HELMAND, Aug. 30 – At around 9:00 pm local time on Monday a hireling patrol came under a Mujahideen attack in Yazno area of Washir district, resulting in 3 gunmen killed or hurt and a PKM machine gun seized.

    2 rangers destroyed as reinforcement convoy repelled

    HELMAND, Aug. 30 – Report say 2 hireling ranger pickups were destroyed and unknown number of puppets killed or hurt after Mujahideen foiled a hireling reinforcement convoy arriving Shindak Manda area, Nahr Siraj region for reinforcement of under siege troops in the area.

    Tactical mine blast kills 5 police in Herat

    HERAT, Aug. 29 – A hireling police check post came under a Mujahideen tactical mine attack in Ab Bardi area of Herat city at around 1:00 pm local time today, killing 5 gunmen on the spot.

    HELMAND, Aug. 29 – Reports say at noon hours on Sunday, Mujahideen surprised those enemy troops in Camp area of Marjah district who wanted to flee from an under siege check post.
