The previously closed Kabul-Jalalabad highway, which was blocked due to landslides, has now been reopened, said ministry of national defence of the IEA..

According to details a landslide occurred on the section of the Kabul-Jalalabad highway leading to Duronti Dam. As a result, the road had to be closed to traffic.

However, thanks to the efforts of the engineering team from the 201 Khalid bin Waleed (RZ) Army Corps, the highway has been cleared and made accessible again.

Unfortunately, during the landslide incident, two vehicles were destroyed, resulting in four individuals losing their lives as martyrs. Additionally, several other citizens sustained severe injuries, and their health condition is currently alarming.
