In two separate meetings, Mawlawi Abdul Kabur, the Political Deputy Prime Minister of the IEA, held fruitful discussions with the Afghan ambassadors stationed in Iran and the United Arab Emirates.
Mawlawi Badruddin Haqqani highlighted the progress made in addressing the challenges faced by Afghans residing in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, particularly focusing on the distribution of identity cards and passports. Many of their issues have been successfully resolved, contributing to improved conditions for the Afghan community in these regions.
Furthermore, Mr. Mawlawii Fazl Mohammad Haqqani, the Afghan Ambassador to Iran, emphasized his ongoing communication with the Iranian authorities concerning Afghan refugees. He expressed optimism that through mutual cooperation, Afghan individuals residing in Iran would have enhanced access to essential services and support.
The Political Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the Islamic Emirate’s desire for positive relations with all nations, based on mutual respect.
