15 killed and wounded as 4 vehicles, APC destroyed in Zabul

ZABUL, Aug. 29 – At least 3 gunmen were killed and 2 others wounded when a hireling patrol came under a Mujahideen bombing in Foladgi area of Shahr-e-Safa district early morning on Sunday.
Another report says that 2 ranger pickups and an APC were destroyed by a series of landmine attacks after an enemy convoy heading towards Shamulzayi district came under a Mujahideen attack in lowargi area of Naw Bahar district midday on Sunday, leaving all gunmen killed or hurt inside.
Later on when the same convoy reached Do Rahi area of Shamulzayi district once again came under Mujahideen attack, during which 2 rangers were destroyed, killing and wounding all gunmen on the spot.
Separately, at least 3 gunmen were killed by landmine attack and 4 others in an exchange of fire with Mujahideen in Norak area of capital Qalat at around 7:00 am local time today.
Likewise 2 other minions were killed amid a landmine attack on Kabul-Kandahar highway in Kojoy area of Shajoy district early today.
