Scores of light and heavy weapons handed over to relevant commission

KUNAR, Nov. 27 – As many as 403 units of light and heavy weapons and 10,000 rounds of ammunition were handed over to the joint commission for the collection of weapons and vehicles by the elders and civilians in Manogi and Chapa districts of Kunar province which will be given to the relevant security agencies.

Kunar Governor Mawlawi Ahmad Taha, Deputy of 201 Khalid bin Waleed Raza Corps, and representative of the Weapons and Vehicles Collection Commission in the Eastern Provinces, Mawlawi Saeedullah Rizwan, The Deputy Director of the Intelligence Department and other officials participated in the ceremony, who, besides thanking the people asked the officials and the people to cooperate with the clearance, weapons and vehicle collection commissions.

Officials of the IEA has asked the people to immediately hand over all the military equipment, vehicles, weapons and ammunition  to the commission if they keep them illegally, in case of violation, they will be dealt with legally.
