Recent reports from these organizations have raised concerns as they fail to reflect the ground realities in Afghanistan and the legal obligations of international representatives. Instead, the content of these reports undermines the path towards stability and peace for the Afghan people. They appear to be based on biased criticisms and promote unhealthy narratives, lacking credibility in the eyes of the Afghan people.

During the 55th session of the Human Rights Council on February 29, 2024, Richard Bennett, the Special Rapporteur of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Afghanistan, presented a report discussing human rights violations in Afghanistan from September 2023 to January 2024.

Some images and videos supporting this report were provided by individuals opposed to Afghan culture and peace, with the intention of discrediting the Taliban. These actions seem to be an orchestrated effort to portray the Islamic Emirate forces as violators of human rights against the Afghan people. The report also incorporates baseless criticisms and demands from notorious and biased individuals in a mysterious and ironic manner.

It is well-known that these individuals consistently accuse the Taliban as enemies of human rights to serve their own interests. Upon reading the full report, Afghans with a discerning eye will recognize that it merely reinforces the unfounded narratives propagated by these individuals.

Afghan Muslims are deeply dismayed by such reports that bear no resemblance to the actual facts on the ground. They call upon the United Nations special rapporteurs on Afghanistan to embrace Islam instead of disseminating propaganda messages and hateful demands in their reports. It is requested that reports be compiled in accordance with religious beliefs and the realities experienced in Afghanistan.

Alhamdulillah, since the Taliban’s return to power, no one’s rights have been violated, and no restrictions have been imposed beyond the religious beliefs of Afghans. The Muslim people of Afghanistan, representing diverse sections of society, are demanding their rights in accordance with Sharia principles. The Taliban, as a responsible governing entity, has provided them with the opportunity to exercise these rights, ensuring their sanctity, honor, and physical and mental well-being.
