Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund the economic deputy prime minister of the IEA inaugurated three important projects of Kabul Municipality worth about one billion afghanis, today.

On behalf of the Economic Deputy of the Prime Minister, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, today, on the 8th of the current month of 1403, the second lot of Khairkhane Kotal Road, the first part of the road extending from Shahid Crossroads to Kasbah and from the Airport Crossroads to the Customs House. Extended road construction projects have been inaugurated. Honorable Mulla Sahib said at the opening ceremony of these projects; Kabul Municipality is making a lot of efforts for the beauty and regularity of the city. The appearance of the city has become more regular than before.

The economic deputy of the Prime Minister recommended the officials of Kabul Municipality to complete these projects on time and with good quality. The second lot of Khairkhane Kotal Road has a length of 2520 meters and a width of 60 meters. The project of the first part of the road from Shahid Fourlar to Kasbah has a length of 1890 meters and a width of 45 meters.

The project of the road extending from the airport intersection to customs has a length of 2,794 meters and a width of 60 meters, which will cost 407 million Afghanis and it is decided that the work will be completed and put into use in 20 months. These projects include canals, bridges, potholes, electricity, stops, marking of the road, installation of traffic signs and other parts of a standard road, the financial cost of which is paid by Kabul Municipality.
