In the district of Baraka, Baghlan province, a meeting took place between the esteemed Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund and Mashal Al Hajri, the head of humanitarian aid from Qatar, said office of the economic deputy prime minister.
Alongside them were Alhaj Mulla Nooruddin Turabi, the deputy of the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARSC), and Mawlawi Mohammad Alam Jameel, the deputy of the Ministry of Economy.
During the meeting, Mullah Baradar Akhund graciously expressed gratitude to Qatar for their generous humanitarian assistance provided to the flood victims in Baghlan. He emphasized that such collaboration serves to strengthen and expand the bilateral relations between the two nations. The head of Qatar’s humanitarian aid expressed heartfelt sympathy for the Afghan people affected by the recent floods and stated that their aid was sent with sincere intentions to alleviate the plight of the needy Afghans to some extent.
In reference to the existing political and economic ties between Qatar and Afghanistan, he highlighted the strong relations between the two countries. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of further expanding bilateral relations across various domains.
