The Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced the signing of a cooperative agreement between Afghanistan and Iran in the mining sector.

The agreement was formally signed by Sherbaz Kaminzadeh, the Director of the Afghanistan Chamber of Mines and Industries, and Reza Bastami, the representative of Iran’s Chamber of Engineers and Mines. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Maulvi Qadratullah Jamal, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry.

During the agreement signing, the Iranian representative expressed his country’s commitment to establishing an office of their mining engineering organization in Afghanistan in the near future. This initiative aims to facilitate knowledge exchange between Iranian mining engineers and their Afghan counterparts, enabling the sharing of valuable experiences and expertise.
