8 killed as check post overrun in Sangin

HELMAND, Sep. 23 – Mujahideen carried out attacks on a police check post in Khomari area of Sangin district overnight, overrunning the post after killing 8 puppets and forcing the rest to flee while seizing a PLM machine gun. A Mujahid was also wounded in the crossfire.
