Over 40 arrested on various charges

In a series of law enforcement operations, a total of 43 individuals have been apprehended across various provinces including Saripul, Khost, Samangan, Nangarhar, Kunduz, Kandahar, Takhar, Herat, and Ghazni, for their involvement in crimes such as robbery, gambling, smuggling, and witchcraft.

Among the arrests, security forces successfully detained five individuals in Khost province for their association with vehicle theft, while in Saripul, 11 individuals involved in gambling activities were apprehended. Furthermore, three individuals engaged in moral corruption and eight more involved in gambling were arrested in Samangan province.

In Nangarhar province, six individuals were taken into custody for theft, while another individual was apprehended for smuggling military equipment. Kunduz province saw the arrest of a group of four armed and skilled robbers, while two individuals were captured in connection with robbery in Kandahar.

In Ghazni province, a magician was apprehended, and in Takhar and Herat provinces, two individuals were arrested for their involvement in robbery.
