International organizations have displayed immense kindness and compassion towards Afghanistan, providing humanitarian aid from all directions. Afghan women, overcome with pain and sorrow, shed tears, while expressing their sympathy and compassion. Journalists, speaking on behalf of the nation, proclaim equality, justice, and the protection of rights for all, yet the hearts of the distressed Afghan people cannot be appeased by distant news alone, as they believe international organizations to be even more caring than mothers.

However, a small region named Gaza is currently enduring relentless bombardment, resulting in the slaughter of innocent women and children. The streets are filled with the remains of children, and the blood of oppressed women flows like a torrent. Numerous schools and universities have been reduced to rubble. The people of Gaza endure nights and days without shelter, suffering from hunger during the cold winter. Journalists describe the situation in Gaza to the world in heartrending terms, such as people collapsing from starvation on the streets and infants succumbing to the lack of milk. The desire of children to have a mere piece of bread epitomizes their plight.

Curiously, the kind international organizations remain silent in this regard, shedding tears of compassion solely for the people of Afghanistan. Their eyes do not shed tears for the people of Gaza. Are the tears shed for Afghanistan nothing more than insincere displays? Is the education of women in Afghanistan considered more important than the lives of thousands of women in Gaza? Do the children of Gaza not have the right to live? Are there caregivers in Afghanistan who are kinder than mothers, while bears hibernate during the winter in Gaza?

Since Israel’s war against the people of Gaza commenced, accompanied by the brutality of these bloodthirsty individuals, the world has increasingly recognized the duplicity and hypocrisy of international organizations. Meanwhile, their criticisms regarding women’s rights in Afghanistan appear absurd. The killing of thousands of innocent children and women in Gaza is not considered a crime, whereas holding murderers accountable in Afghanistan and upholding the country’s laws elicits noise from international organizations. Is this anything other than blatant double standards, hypocrisy, and wavering loyalties?

Instead of unwarranted criticisms of Afghanistan, international organizations should direct their attention towards the two million refugees in Gaza and contemplate ways to save the lives of these innocent individuals. Rather than mourning the loss of Afghanistan Women’s University, they should focus on the plight of oppressed women and children in Gaza, who are perishing before the eyes of the world.
