In an ongoing campaign to combat illegal drug production, the police have successfully destroyed significant areas of poppy fields, as per the statement by ministry of inteior.
A total of 147 jeribs of poppy were eradicated in Nangarhar province, followed by 110 jeribs in Uruzgan, 21 jeribs in Kandahar, and 6 jeribs in Farah. Additionally, the anti-narcotics police have taken action to eliminate drug fields in Laghman province.
These efforts aim to disrupt the cultivation and production of narcotics, contributing to the overall fight against drug trafficking and addiction in the region.
