Afghanistan Railway Transfers 151,495 Metric Tons of Goods in the Past Two Weeks

Over the span of two weeks, specifically from the 10th to the 23rd of Hamal, Afghanistan’s railway system facilitated the transportation of a total of 151,495 metric tons of various commodities, says Afghanistan Railway authority (ARA) in a statement.

Out of this total, 113,271 tons were transported via the Harayatan Railway, 19,523 tons through the Aqeena Railway, and 18,701 tons via the Torghondai Railway. These quantities encompassed both petroleum and non-petroleum products, as well as other materials involved in import and export activities.

 

The Afghanistan Railway Authority is dedicated to creating favorable conditions for increased transfers and aims to provide necessary facilities to traders. The ongoing efforts to enhance the railway infrastructure and services are aimed at bolstering trade opportunities and ensuring efficient transportation of goods throughout the country.
