As per the ministry of national defense the combined efforts of the rescue teams resulted in the successful rescue of three citizens who were trapped in the flood waters, with the assistance of the Kandahar Air Force Brigade and Dehle Dam in Shah Wali Kot District.
The swift action involved the use of a Mi17 helicopter to facilitate the transfer.
Additionally, an injured citizen affected by the floods in Uruzgan province was safely transported to Kandahar for enhanced medical treatment.
