ZABUL, Dec. 16 – Reports from southern Zabul province say that Mujahideen ambushed hireling troops Seghani area of the capital Qalat at 12:00 pm yesterday during which 2 APCs were destroyed by RPG fire, leaving 4 gunmen dead and forcing the rest to retreat towards Shahjoi district.
About an hour later on the same day another APC was blown up by an IED in Mizana district’s Makrak area, killing and wounding all gunmen onboard.
Meanwhile a sniper shot dead 5 gunmen of Balo Daad check post with a NVG scope in Arghandab district overnight.
