2 posts along with general Malik’s palace overrun in Faryab

FARYAB, Apr. 30 – Amid full swing of fresh spring offensive ‘Al Khandaq Operations’, Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks against enemy positions in Shesh Tapa, Chaqno, Faizabad, Qazi Qashlaq and Qarachi areas of Shireen Tagab district afternoon hours on Sunday.

Attacks of heavy and light arms lasted till evening hours, resulting in, palace of General Abdul Malik – office of Hizb-e-azadi- and 2 more check posts overrun, after forcing the enemy to flee.

Similarly, another check post was overrun in Baloch area of the said district.
