10 including police chief killed as post overrun in Zabul

ZABUL, Apr. 19 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Omari’, Mujahideen carried out an attack on a hireling check post in Loti area of Seuyrie district last night.
Attacks of heavy and light weapons, resulted in the post was overrun, killing 5 minions and forcing the rest to flee.
A PKM machine gun, 3 rifles, 1 Binocular, 3 RPG rounds and a box of PKM rounds.
Meanwhile, reinforcement arriving from a nearby post came under Mujahideen attack, leaving 2 more gunmen killed.
Furthermore, an enemy convoy of Arbakis regional head – commander Sayfullah – and police chief of Shinki district came under a  Mujahideen attack, during which an APC destroyed by landmine blast and another one by RPG fire, killing the said commander along with 4 others.
