KUNAR, Mar. 5 – Mujahideen fighters pounded an enemy base with heavy weapons in eastern Kunar province’s Manawara district, a report said, but gave no causality reports.

The base is said to have been under Mujahideen siege for long and the supplies access by roads have been denied to the enemy who receive its supplies via air.

Also Saturday, Mujahideen and enemy clashed in the abovementioned district but there is no information on the enemy casualty toll.

On Sunday, Mujahideen raided an army post in Nari district of this province, leaving a puppet soldier wounded and damaging the post.

According to another report from Kunar, Mujahideen shelled an enemy post early Sunday but it is not yet clear if anyone has been killed or wounded.
