Distribution of 66 New Houses to Earthquake Victims in Herat’s Districts
In a continued effort to support the earthquake victims in Herat, 66 standardized houses were recently handed over to affected individuals in the Gulran and Angel districts. These houses were constructed through financial assistance from industrialists, aiming to provide safe and secure shelter for those impacted by the earthquake.
Maulvi Ahmadullah Muttaqi, the spokesperson of the Earthquake Relief Commission, shared that over 4,000 houses have already been built in various areas affected by the earthquake. Additionally, plans are underway to construct approximately 2,000 more houses in the near future, further aiding those in need of housing assistance. The Director of Information and Culture in Herat emphasized the ongoing efforts to support and rebuild communities affected by the earthquake.
