Torkham transit system collects 30 million AFN revenue daily

NANGARHAR, Jan. 31 – 800 to 1300 trucks and containers pass through Torkham every day, according to Torkham Commissar Sediq Khalid, who made the statement at a meeting held at the Torkham Commissary.

30 million AFN revenues per day transparently transferred to The Islamic Emirate Bank.

The commissioner claimed that all actions in Torkham Town are coordinated and there are facilities close to zero point for patients who have travelled to Pakistan in the previous six months, as well as separate locations for men and women to spend the night.

The Commissioner claims that 49800 patients have travelled to Pakistan for medical care in the last six months.

Mawlawi Mustafa Kamal, the deputy commissioner of Torkham, said that the organization has successfully stopped all forms of smuggling.
