In an effort to facilitate the transportation of Russian oil to South Asia, the Islamic Emirate has consented to the establishment of a logistics center in Herat.

The Acting Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Nuruddin Azizi, revealed that the Islamic Emirate, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan held a trilateral meeting in Kabul, where they agreed to collaborate on constructing the logistics center.

Mr. Azizi informed Reuters news agency that the technical teams will finalize a written agreement within two months to initiate the investment in the logistics center.
