Tank, equipment seized as 3 check posts overrun in Chilgazy

FARYAB, Aug. 16 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Omari’, Mujahideen assaulted enemy check posts in Chahar Shanbey area of Chilgazy district yesterday afternoon.
Attacks in which heavy and light weapons were used continued till early this morning, overrunning 3 hireling check posts completely and forcing the enemy to flee after suffering heavy casualties.
Mujahideen have recovered an APC and a sizable amount of war equipment from the check posts.
All praise belong to Allah as Mujahideen suffered no casualties in the operation.
