The Ministry of Economic Affairs welcomes all the positive and factual points of the latest report published by the World Bank on the economic situation of Afghanistan, and considers it a clear picture of Afghanistan’s real development and economic mobility.

In this report, it is said that the prices of food and petroleum products have decreased, value of the Afghani currency against foreign currencies has remained stable, the amount of exports has also increased significantly, the salaries of government employees have been paid on time, and there has also been a significant increase in national revenue.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan believes that if the existing restrictions on the banking sector of Afghanistan are removed and the frozen assets of Afghans are released, the economic situation of the country will take faster steps towards improvement and stability, relieving the burden on the international community.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan wants all international organizations to 8nform the world about the progress being made in Afghanistan, especially in the economic sector, so that the world can imagine about the real situation in Afghanistan.

The IEA calls on all international organizations and aid agencies to take steps in financing development projects with Afghanistan, which will reduce the unemployment rate and have a more positive impact on the country’s economic situation.

Meanwhile the IEA wants the World Bank besides publishing facts about Afghanistan, to complete all its project that were financed by this organization, but stopped after re-establishment of the IEA.
